Some Inspiration to Change Your Day

Today is Labour Day. This annual holiday is a time to recognize the hard work that came before us. It’s about recognizing the achievements of workers and the freedoms we have today that came at a price.

With that as the back drop of the day I want to share with you some of my favorite quotes to inspire you to start the new week with fresh eyes, renewed spirit, and a desire to work hard on yourself. Embrace the freedoms we have to express ourselves in todays world. It wasn’t always that way–just as the work day wasn’t always eight hours.

With this twisted covid year perhaps you can absorb some wisdom to take you far in life.

Here are three of my favorites (all from BrainyQuotes).

They’re self explanatory. But stop and really think about each one.

Words of wisdom from renowned American artist Georgia O’Keefe.

In our world of social anxiety and awkwardness know that you’re not alone and it’s really nothing new…

“I’ve been absolutely terrified every moment of my life – and I’ve never let it keep me from doing a single thing I wanted to do.”

Georgia O’Keeffe

This is a quote from American writer Mark Twain. Give the day a chance. Don’t allow yourself to be pulled down into a funk of yuck.

This is such a good one from Ralph Waldo Emerson. There is such strength, beauty, and wisdom within you. Sometimes all you have to do is look.

Have a wonderful and inspired week everyone. Be kind to yourself. xo

  1. “There is such strength, beauty, and wisdom within you. Sometimes all you have to do is look.” Ralph Waldo Emerson’s quote I saw in the write-up is the best. Thank you for sharing the energy! I am already motivated to go ahead with my day, and the upcoming week looks At https://www.anitajoyanderson.com, we work on a goal.
